A Department of Defense and Navy Medicine mandated program, Deployment Health Center (DHC) Camp Lejeune supports Line Commanders and their medical assets/components with medical screening to identify any emerging medical or mental health concerns due to deployment, via provision of individual and/or unit-based Deployment Health Assessments and/or ANAM Screenings, and requisite referral services.

Eligibility
All Active Duty Personnel are eligible for:
1 frame of choice, clear lenses
1 standard issue frame, clear lenses
1 standard issue frame, tinted lenses
Gas mask and ESS/Ballistic inserts, as required
Appointments (Active Duty Personnel Only)
Guidance
Please bring your current glasses with you to your exam.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to your exam
Patients reporting 15 minutes or later than their appointed time may be asked to reschedule
Refractive Surgery Information LASIK and PRK
Guidance
Patients interested in refractive surgery should bring copies of their last 2 eye glass prescriptions to their comprehensive exam. Appointment is required.
To be eligible for surgery one must:
Be over 18+ years old
Have a stable prescription
Have good ocular health
Have at least 18 months remaining on active duty
Not deploying within the next 6 months
Have a prescription that meets the qualifications for surgery
