Walk-in Contraceptive Services
Get all your contraceptive care at Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune. You may visit the OB/GYN Clinic or the Community Health Clinic depending on your individual needs.
All beneficiaries, regardless of gender identity, are eligible for care and counseling at walk-in contraceptive clinics and can receive education on safe sexual practices, contraceptives, and STI prevention and treatment.

Services Offered
We offer a Walk-in Contraceptive Clinic every Tuesday from 8–11 a.m. & 1–3 p.m.

- New birth control pill/patch prescriptions
- IUD & Nexplanon insertions*
- Depo Provera **
- Contraception Counseling
- Emergency contraception/Plan B
How it Works
The clinic is operated on a walk-in basis; no appointment is necessary. The Contraceptive Care Walk-in Clinic is for TRICARE beneficiaries.
* Removing IUD/Nexplanon for any reason other than expiration and replacement will require a referral. Please see PCM first for this referral then call to make an appointment. Please make an appointment for IUD string checks.
** Depo Provera follow-up injections may be completed at any time in the OB/GYN clinic or with your PCM on a walk-in basis.

How it Works
