Training Notice

Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune will conduct training on the morning of Saturday, July 27, 2024.
Please be aware there will be an increase in vehicles and activity near the medical center. Please heed traffic signs and directions.
Patients and visitors traveling to NMCCL may be stopped at a security checkpoint and prompted to show ID.
Training will not affect patient care.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

NEW Marine Centered Medical Home Clinic (MCMH) New River

Clinic operations will begin out of the new Marine Center Medical Home New River on Monday, May 20, 2024.
MCMH New River Pharmacy operations will be operational out of the new space as of Friday, May 17, 2024.
The new location is Building AS4021, Canal Street, MCAS New River.

Navy Family Ombudsmen are Navy spouse volunteers who are appointed by the Commander to be a communication link between leadership and command families. Ombudsmen are professionally trained as an information and referral specialist for our active-duty families.

NMCCL Travel Counseling

NMCCL's Internal Medicine Clinic offers pre-travel physician counseling for those intending to travel overseas for leisure or short TAD to discuss immunizations and travel medications.
Example scenarios: "I am going on a safari in Tanzania in 3 months. Do I need antimalarial medications?" "I plan to visit the Amazon rainforest in Ecuador. Do I need a Yellow Fever vaccine?"

MHS GENESIS - Scheduling Appointments Online

You can now schedule primary care appointments with Family Medicine and the Pediatrics Clinic appointments online through the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal!
When logged into your portal, click “Appointments.” You will have the option to schedule by provider or by visit reason. If you search by “Visit Reason,” select either “Primary Care" or “Pediatric Primary Care.” Find your team and follow prompts to schedule!
Please note, this option is only active for primary care appointments with Family Medicine and Pediatrics at this time. As soon as more options become available, we will update!

MCMH New River provides routine appointments/physicals and some specialty services to active duty personnel aboard Marine Corps Air Station New River.

Upgraded medical, dental clinic opens for Marines and Sailors at Marine Corps Air Station New River

Marine Corps Air Station New River has a brand new, state-of-the-art medical and dental facility for Marines and Sailors attached to 2nd Marine Air Wing. Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune celebrated the opening of the new Marine Centered Medical Home (MCMH) New River with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on July 26, 2024.

Blayne Brown is surrounded by his team of health care professionals at Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune on June 25, 2024. Brown was transported to the NMCCL Trauma Center from North Topsail Beach on June 23 after suffering extensive wounds to his right leg from a shark bite. Brown was cared for by a team of providers at NMCCL; he will soon travel home to West Virginia to complete recovery.

Capt. Anja Dabelić, Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune commander and director, and Col. Ralph Rizzo, Marine Corps Installations East acting commander, addresses safety protocol for patients placed in isolation during the extreme weather exercise at Wallace Creek Fitness Center, aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune on June 12, 2024. The extreme weather exercise was a joint training exercise to ensure efficient medical care is provided in the event of severe weather.

NMCCL Sailors train with MCB Camp Lejeune and MCAS New River in extreme weather exercise

Sailors assigned to Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune (NMCCL) and its branch clinics are prepared for the Atlantic Hurricane Season. NMCCL trained with Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) New River aboard both installations during a multi-day weather exercise from June 10-13, 2024.

Dabelić assumed directorship of the facility and command of Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command (NMRTC) Camp Lejeune on May 21, 2024.

Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune celebrated the establishment of a new medical and dental clinic on Marine Corps Air Station New River in Jacksonville, North Carolina. The new, state-of-the-art building was commemorated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on July 26. The clinic is the largest in the Marine Centered Medical Home project which provides upgrades spaces for Marines and Sailors to get care, offering multiple services under one roof.
