Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune News & Updates
Flu Vaccine Expo
NMCCL will be offering a flu vaccine expo for TRICARE family members and retirees at the Wallace Creek Fitness Center Gym on Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune.
The expo will be held October 16 1-5 p.m. and October 17 & 18 7 a.m.-5 p.m.
A valid DOD ID card is required.
Vaccines are available for those 6 months and older.
Active-duty personnel receive their flu vaccines from their assigned medical clinic rather than at the expo.
In accordance with Defense Health Agency policy, NMCCL is able to give flu vaccines only to TRICARE beneficiaries and NMCCL health care personnel.
COVID-19 Vaccine Now Available
Our Immunizations Clinic in the main Medical Center is carrying the Pfizer 2024-2025 formula COVID-19 vaccine.
The vaccine is for those 12 years of age and older.
We are still awaiting shipments of the pediatric COVID-19 vaccine.

Wave of Light Ceremony
Each year, International Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day is recognized on October 15.
As is tradition, the Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune Pastoral Care office hosts a Wave of Light ceremony to honor these precious lives gone too soon. A wave of candles lights up the night to honor their souls.
NMCCL will be hosting the Wave of Light ceremony on the Galley Patio at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 15, 2024.
We invite you to attend and light a candle if you wish. The event will also be livestreamed on our Facebook page.
If you’re unable to attend but would like the name of your loved one read aloud to honor them, we invite you to send us a Facebook private message or secure email with that information: usn.lejeune.navmedcenclnc.list.nmccl-pao@health.mil. All names will be read with permission from the families.
