Navy physicians, interns graduate from Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune’s residency and fellowship programs
Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune graduates its newest class of family medicine residents, interns, and sports medicine fellows into the military medicine ranks. The Graduate Medical Education Directorate of the medical center (NMCCL) hosted the ceremony on June 30, 2026, at Marston Pavilion on Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune.

Simulation center provides corpsmen essential transport care training at Camp Lejeune
Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune’s Healthcare Simulation and Bioskills Center hosted the final stage of En Route Care (ERC) training for corpsmen across Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune. The ERC program is designed to train hospital corpsmen on medical care provided during transport; the testing on June 6, 2026, integrated high-tech simulators and hands-on training.

NMCCL audiologist recognized for efforts to conserve Marines’ hearing
Blast exposure is unavoidable for most Marines. One doctor in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina is working to outpace blast exposure before it leads to irreparable hearing loss. Dr. Jeffrey Russell, occupational audiologist with Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune, is named the 2025 Senior Audiologist of the Year for the Department of War.
