Preventive Medicine

Mission

Our mission is to properly and efficiently execute measures intended to mitigate, prepare for, and respond to health risks resulting from potential environmental exposures, including communicable diseases and food/water-borne illnesses. These measures protect military members, family members, and base support personnel and improve operational readiness and freedom of action. 

Vision

Our Vision is to be the regional leader and preventive medicine department of choice for all operational and non-operational forces onboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and its regional affiliates. 

Services

Services include, but are not limited to, Disease Intervention and Behavioral Modification Counseling, Environmental Health (EH), Immunizations Issuance, and Immunizations Clinic.
