Immunizations Clinic

The NMCCL Immunizations Clinic is located in the main Medical Center across from Family Medicine on the first floor.
The NMCCL Immunizations Clinic focuses on immunizations for beneficiaries such as family members of active duty and retirees.
Active Duty personnel should speak with their Battalion Aid Station (BAS) or Marine Centered Medical Home (MCMH) clinic about immunizations before presenting to the NMCCL Immunizations Clinic.
Please note: The last patient of the day will be seen 15 minutes prior to close of business.

COVID-19 Vaccines

On Sept. 11, 2023, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) authorized updated COVID-19 vaccines for emergency use. The updated COVID-19 vaccines are formulated to target currently circulating variants and to provide better protection against serious consequences of COVID-19, including hospitalization and death. 

On Sept. 12, 2023, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) recommended everyone 6 months and older get an updated COVID-19 vaccine to protect against COVID-19 illness.

*For individuals previously vaccinated with any COVID-19 vaccine, administer the dose of Pfizer-BioNTech or COMIRNATY (2023-2024 Formula) at least two months after the last dose of COVID-19 vaccine.

COVID-19 Vaccine Locations

  • TRICARE beneficiaries (family members and retirees) can receive their vaccine at the NMCCL Immunizations Clinic on a walk-in basis during operating hours.
  • Active duty service members should contact their assigned medical clinic for vaccine availability.

COVID-19 Vaccines Out-in-Town

TRICARE beneficiaries may receive the COVID-19 vaccine at no cost if you use a network pharmacy. More information on TRICARE coverage for immunizations.

Flu Vaccines

The seasonal influenza vaccine is available for TRICARE beneficiaries (retirees, dependents) ages 6 months and older.
Flu vaccines are given on a walk-in basis at the NMCCL Immunizations Clinic.

  • Active-duty personnel receive flu vaccines from their assigned medical clinic.
  • In accordance with Defense Health Agency policy, flu vaccines can be given to TRICARE beneficiaries and health care personnel. NMCCL can only give the flu vaccine to GS, NAF, or DODEA employees if they are also a TRICARE beneficiary or health care personnel.

TRICARE beneficiaries may receive the flu vaccine at no cost if you use a pharmacy within the network.

NOTE: If you choose to have your child vaccinated off the installation, you will need to bring a record of the vaccination to the NMCCL Immunizations Clinic for updating your child’s health record.
