Mission

It is our goal to provide excellent care during your stay at Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune (NMCCL). Our Intensive Care Unit delivers lifesaving care, 24/7 and 365 days a year. We provide care for patients suffering from acute conditions such as  respiratory distress syndrome or shock. We also care for pre-and post-operative patients and may perform advanced, invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
 
During your stay in the Intensive Care Unit, the doctors, nurses and staff at NMCCL will treat you and your family as partners in your own care. One important way that you can help us is to ask questions, voice your concerns, and raise issues relating not only to your care and treatment, but also to overall hospital services. We know you expect excellent care and high-quality services, and we want to make sure you receive them.
