Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune, Novant Health announce new psychiatry residency program
Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune Director Captain Kevin Brown helps announce the Psychiatry Residency Program, a partnership with Novant Health, UNC Health and the UNC School of Medicine. The program’s establishment was formally announced during a presentation at Betty H. Cameron Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Wilmington on May 22, 2023. The Psychiatry Residency Program will consist of seven residents, three military members and four civilians, with the purpose of boosting the mental health resources for active duty and civilian beneficiaries in Eastern North Carolina.
