Scheduling Appointments Online

You can now schedule primary care appointments with Family Medicine and the Pediatrics Clinic appointments online through the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal!
When logged into your portal, click “Appointments.” You will have the option to schedule by provider or by visit reason. If you search by “Visit Reason,” select either “Primary Care" or “Pediatric Primary Care.” Find your team and follow prompts to schedule!
Please note, this option is only active for primary care appointments with Family Medicine and Pediatrics at this time. As soon as more options become available, we will update!

Navy Medicine, Marine Corps, and the Defense Health Agency celebrated the opening of a brand new, state-of-the-art Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation (SMART) Clinic and Human Performance Center with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on July 02, 2025.

Combined Military-Civilian Psychiatry Program Resident commissions as Naval officer

A psychiatry resident in the Combined Military-Civilian Psychiatry Residency Program (CMCPRP) at Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune is making the move from civilian to military personnel, commissioning as a Naval officer on June 6, 2025.

The program graduated 11 family medicine residents and 10 family medicine interns, two sports medicine fellows, and one family medicine-obstetric fellow.

Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune’s Graduate Medical Education program celebrates graduating residents, interns, and fellows

The graduating class received 100% pass rates on their Family Medicine Certification Examinations given by the American Board of Family Medicine. NMCCL’s program produces about one-quarter of all family medicine physicians in the Navy, according to U.S. Navy Captain Elizabeth Frame, director for graduate medical education at NMCCL.

NMMCL Nurses win Nursing Leadership Excellence Awards and gain acceptance into University of Pennsylvania/Johnson & Johnson Nurse Innovation Fellowship.

If you live far from a military hospital or clinic, TRICARE Prime Remote could be the right TRICARE health plan for you. While TRICARE Prime is only available to eligible beneficiaries in Prime Service Areas (designated regions that have proximity to military hospitals or clinics), TPR extends coverage beyond PSAs. This plan helps active duty service members and their family members get care when they live or work in areas that are remote from military hospitals or clinics.
