Services Update: Operating Rooms

Elective surgical procedures at Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune (NMCCL) are postponed due to a facilities issue with the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system of our operating rooms (ORs). While the ORs are under maintenance, our surgical staff is rescheduling procedures through December 10, 2025, or referring cases out to the network. Patients with questions about their surgery should call their respective surgical clinic.
The NMCCL Trauma Center remains the point of care for stabilization and transport to higher levels of trauma care in compliance with the Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act (EMTALA). Two operating rooms are available for emergency/trauma use, if necessary.
Our patients are incredibly important to us, and NMCCL appreciates our beneficiaries’ continued support of our team prioritizing safety and quality of care. NMCCL is grateful to our many local and regional medical partners who are assisting us in ensuring our patients receive the care they need during this time. As this develops, updates will be made available on this page.

Holiday Hours

Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune clinics, pharmacies, and administrative offices will be closed Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, Nov. 27, 2025). The window for refrigerated medication refills at the MCX Pharmacy will also be closed Friday, Nov. 28. Refilled refrigerated medications can be picked up at the Main Pharmacy at the Medical Center on Friday. Refills kiosks are still available at Lejeune and New River Main MCX during store operating hours.

MHS GENESIS
Scheduling Appointments Online

You can now schedule primary care appointments with Family Medicine and the Pediatrics Clinic appointments online through the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal!
When logged into your portal, click “Appointments.” You will have the option to schedule by provider or by visit reason. If you search by “Visit Reason,” select either “Primary Care" or “Pediatric Primary Care.” Find your team and follow prompts to schedule!
Please note, this option is only active for primary care appointments with Family Medicine and Pediatrics at this time. As soon as more options become available, we will update!
