Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support Group

Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune is standing up the Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support Group.
The first meeting will be held Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. in the Health Promotions Building (Building 4) located on Post Lane, across the street from the base theater.

NMCCL’s Bereavement Counselor, Reverend Charles Quarles, will present “Understanding Your Grief” based on the works of Dr. Allan Wolfelt, followed by an open forum for participants to discuss the dynamics of their grief and determine the need for additional monthly group meetings.

Retiree Appreciation Day

Join us on September 28, 2024, for the annual Retiree Appreciation Day hosted in partnership with Marine Corps Installations East Retired Affairs.
The event takes place from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at Marston Pavilion aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune.

NMCCL Travel Counseling

NMCCL's Internal Medicine Clinic offers pre-travel physician counseling for those intending to travel overseas for leisure or short TAD to discuss immunizations and travel medications.
Example scenarios: "I am going on a safari in Tanzania in 3 months. Do I need antimalarial medications?" "I plan to visit the Amazon rainforest in Ecuador. Do I need a Yellow Fever vaccine?"

Scheduling Appointments Online

You can now schedule primary care appointments with Family Medicine and the Pediatrics Clinic appointments online through the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal!
When logged into your portal, click “Appointments.” You will have the option to schedule by provider or by visit reason. If you search by “Visit Reason,” select either “Primary Care" or “Pediatric Primary Care.” Find your team and follow prompts to schedule!
Please note, this option is only active for primary care appointments with Family Medicine and Pediatrics at this time. As soon as more options become available, we will update!

Upgraded medical, dental clinic opens for Marines and Sailors at Marine Corps Air Station New River

Marine Corps Air Station New River has a brand new, state-of-the-art medical and dental facility for Marines and Sailors attached to 2nd Marine Air Wing. Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune celebrated the opening of the new Marine Centered Medical Home (MCMH) New River with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on July 26, 2024.

Blayne Brown is surrounded by his team of health care professionals at Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune on June 25, 2024. Brown was transported to the NMCCL Trauma Center from North Topsail Beach on June 23 after suffering extensive wounds to his right leg from a shark bite. Brown was cared for by a team of providers at NMCCL; he will soon travel home to West Virginia to complete recovery.

Sailors assigned to Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune (NMCCL) and its branch clinics are prepared for the Atlantic Hurricane Season. NMCCL trained with Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) New River aboard both installations during a multi-day weather exercise from June 10-13, 2024.

U.S. Navy Commander Robert Kimberling reflects on the one-year milestone for the Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune COVID-19/Acute Respiratory Clinic. The clinic, originally thought to be temporary, has been in existence for more than a year following its establishment at the start of the pandemic. Since opening, the clinic has tested thousands for COVID-19 and taken care of thousands more for various respiratory-related ailments.
