Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune welcomed the first baby of 2025 for Onslow County, North Carolina. Stella Ray Esther Basham was born at 1:20 a.m. on January 1, 2025.

The Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune Healthcare Simulation and Bioskills Center received provisional accreditation though the Society of Simulation and Healthcare in October 2024. Next, the center will prepare for pursuance of full accreditation in 2025.
