Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune registered nurse receives national Daisy Award

NAVAL MEDICAL CENTER CAMP LEJEUNE, North Carolina — On May 9, 2023, as part of Nurses Week celebrations, Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune leaders and staff gathered to host a Daisy Award Recognition Ceremony.

Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune’s Pastoral Care Team serves the medical community in a variety of ways; from religious services, pastoral counseling and raising donations for persons in need, their services are available 24 hours-a-day, 365 days-a-year.

NAVAL MEDICAL CENTER CAMP LEJEUNE, North Carolina — Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune’s Pastoral Care Team serves the medical community in a variety of ways; from religious services, pastoral counseling and raising donations for persons in need, their services are available 24 hours-a-day, 365 days-a-year.

Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune welcomed its first baby of the new year at 10:15 a.m. on January 2, 2023. Rowan Joseph Acevedo Kouris was welcomed into the world by his proud parents, Sergeant James Kouris and Trisha Acevedo. Sgt. Kouris is a United States Marine stationed at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point; Rowan's mother shared she was also born at the medical center.
