New Navy Medicine command in Eastern North Carolina focuses on expeditionary medicine

CAMP LEJEUNE, North Carolina — There is a new Navy Medicine command positioned aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune. Navy Captain Darryl P. Arfsten assumed command as the first commanding officer of Expeditionary Medical Facility Kilo on March 1, 2023.

Navy Reserve, Navy Medicine Readiness Training Command Camp Lejeune hosted a Change of Command on January 20, 2023.
Captain Rebecca Zornado relieved Captain Sherma Saif of command in a ceremony aboard Marine Corpse Base Camp Lejeune.

NMRTC Camp Lejeune's reserve component hosts change of command

MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP LEJEUNE, North Carolina — Navy Reserve, Navy Medicine Readiness Training Command Camp Lejeune hosted a Change of Command ceremony on January 20, 2023. Captain Rebecca Zornado relieved Captain Sherma Saif of command. Rear Admiral Eric Peterson, Deputy Command of Naval Forces Atlantic, was the presiding officer for the ceremony.
