Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune's Call Center employees, the first line of communication for most patients. The 14 employees of the Call Center are often the very first encounter the beneficiary has with the medical center. One Call Center employee can average around 80 calls during their shift.

Members of Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune's Motorcycle Mentorship Program participated in a command-sponsored ride on July 16, 2021. The MMP is a mandatory program for all active-duty staff, and encouraged for civilian staff who operate a motorcycle. The command-sponsored rides are intended to pair experienced riders with less experienced riders to help teach safety rules and the "do's and don'ts" of activating a motor bike.

Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune's COVID-19 Vaccine Tiger Team takes the Pfizer vaccine to USMC commands, units, and schoolhouses in an effort to vaccinate service members and Department of Defense workers. Taking the vaccine to sites that are farther from the center of Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune offer units and commands ease and efficiency as well as protection against COVID-19. On June 15, 2021, the Tiger Team administered more than 130 first and second doses to personnel at Marine Forces Special Operation Command. As the U.S. Men’s National Hockey Team arrived in Latvia earlier this week for the 2021 Ice Hockey World Championship, they are accompanied by one of Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune’s very own. U.S. Navy Lieutenant Commander Douglas Weiss, who serves as an orthopedic surgeon at NMCCL is also a Team Physician for the men’s USA Hockey Team.
