The focus of the ORE held in Camp Pendleton, California was testing the command’s ability to stand up a fully functional field hospital, capable of operating when deployed at any location around the world.

Camp Lejeune Family Medicine Residency Program graduates 11 physicians, 10 interns
CAMP LEJEUNE, North Carolina — Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune’s Family Medicine Residency Program graduated 11 physicians and 10 interns on June 30, 2023. For the 12th consecutive year, the graduating class received 100% pass rates on their Family Medicine Certification Examinations given by the American Board of Family Medicine.

New psychiatry residency partnership aims to bolster mental health care for military, civilians in Eastern North Carolina
WILMINGTON, North Carolina — Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune will be a part of increasing access to psychiatric care in Eastern North Carolina through a new residency program. NMCCL has joined Novant Health, along with UNC Health and the UNC School of Medicine, to found the Psychiatry Residency Program. The program’s establishment was formally announced during a presentation at Betty H. Cameron Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Wilmington on May 22, 2023.
